Super Typhoon Yolanda thankfully did not directly hit Bohol.   And yet the strong winds and heavy rain forced the people sleeping outdoors to find shelter in what few evacuation centers survived the earthquake and in the marketplace.  (While the marketplace has a covered area, it is not an indoor shelter.)

The storm has blown away many of the makeshift shelters and destroyed a significant portion of the donated food supply!

Now, more than ever…Maribojoc needs your help!  Please help us purchase tents for the people.  The majority of the town’s population remains homeless!  With more storms on the way, the people need shelter from the rain.  Plus with modern tents they can easily pack the tents when they evacuate during typhoons, then pitch them again when they return.

Bangon Maribojoc has agreed to assist Paul and Michelle.   Together, they have set up a distribution system waiting for our funds.  Just $30 will buy a tent, sleeping mats, and blankets for an entire family!

This campaign is an addendum to http://path2.us/tents-and-shelter-for-the-people-of-maribojoc/ set up to raise emergency funds to purchase emergency shelter.
