Tents and Shelter For the People of Maribojoc

Makeshift SheltersIt rains hard in tropical countries like the Philippines.  The rain can be relentless and heavy downpours are common.

The Bohol Earthquake has made many people in Maribojoc homeless, with their homes either completely destroyed or unsafe for habitation.  While there are some efforts by the military and local government, many still sleep in the open or in flimsy, makeshift shelters.

This situation must be addressed.  The Philippines is a tropical country with frequent heavy rains.  While Maribojoc has been fortunate in that only light rain has fallen since the quake…that could change at any minute.  We need to provide them with temporary shelter.

Please be generous to this vital cause!
