This is Jerry Putian. Jerry lives with his wife, Bebe, their three children, and his mother in law.
The earthquake has left their house torn apart and they have to sleep outside now. Because of the constant aftershocks, it is unsafe to stay under what has become a house with no walls. Jerry says it gets cold at night and his young daughter gets a runny nose and coughs. This is a common problem among the children of Maribojoc. Bebe’s mother also has problems with her arthritis in the night air.
Jerry is asking for immediate help in finding temporary shelter. He tells us that lots of people need shelter.
