Rebuilding The Schools In Earthquake-Ravaged Bohol

Dennis Saco and his B.R.I.D.G.E.S. team have a mission to rebuild the schools of Bohol.   In many towns, schools have been wiped out by the powerful magnitude 7.2 earthquake.  The team operates on a very straightforward principle that has been proven in the successful campaigns we have supported.  They gather grass roots volunteers, they use whatever resources and donations they can rally…and they go out and take action!

We support Dennis is his belief that the children are the future.  At a time when the very foundations of their lives have been disrupted, it has become essential to get them back on track with their education.   This project is very straightforward.  The team has a strong volunteer base (with even teachers and students providing labor), but they do need funding for basic construction materials and supplies.

The die has been cast, The foundation has been laid today……

It’s all systems go as Saint Augustine Institute in Sagbayan, Bohol rebuilds its school that was partially damaged by the devastating temblor that struck Bohol almost two months back

Guided by the school’s modest aim to build six semi- permanent classrooms made of plywood, hardiflex, coco lumber and G.I. sheets, B.R.I.D.G.E.S and OBB hopes to see the realization of that dream Team B.R.I.D.G.E.S , OBB and a handful of volunteers from all sectors came back today to fulfill a promise made to the students and faculty

A sense of excitement fueled by optimism and hope filled the campus even as the students and faculty members helped Team B.R.I.D.G.E.S and OBB from carrying the construction materials donated by kind- hearted and generous individuals and groups to laying the foundation for the new classrooms

As much as Team B.R.I.D.G.E.S and OBB oplan bangon bohol would like to repair and rebuild as many classrooms as WE can, our group can only do so much ,Team B.R.I.D.G.E.S is calling donors and sponsors for monetary donations, construction materials and school equipment, books and even pencils, pens, writing pads and notebooks.

Willing and able- bodied volunteers who can handle hammers and saws are most welcome too

Let us secure the future of Bohol’s new generation by ensuring that they study in the most conducive places for learning
